Earthquake!

I thought I was having a stroke.



I was folding laundry, and sat on my bed for a minute.



My bed started to vibrate.



My kids were no where to be seen, so it couldn't have been one of them climbing underneath to 'scare me'.



I closed my eyes and could still feel shaking.



And then it stopped.



I opened my eyes, and decided my mind was playing with me.



I got some water,



got on my computer,



and noticed other people in various places commenting on an earthquake that just happened.



This is bizarre, but not surprising.

Psalm 104:32

who looks on the earth and it trembles,

who touches the mountains and they smoke!

Matthew 24:7

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

Isaiah 31:2

And yet He is wise who brings disaster;

He does not call back His words,

but will arise against the house of the evildoers

and against the helpers of those who work iniquity.

Job 9:6

who shakes the earth out of its place,

and its pillars tremble;

My God is causing the very ground to shift.



My God, who created all I see and don't see.



The ONE who sustains me,



guides me,



and provided The Saviour!



Oh How Great and Powerful are your ways
