How do you communicate to others when you're speaking an entirely different language?
I have found that something as simple as the word 'God' is taken out of context by so many people who read scriptures. One who truly does not meditate on Genesis 1:1 will fall into a snowball effect of egotism and an ignorant understanding of Gods Holy and Perfect Word to the point where they will accuse God of a lie.
I have spoken to many a person about this, that their interpretation of scripture can not coincide with how they live because God isn't viewed as THE All Powerful Master. Since reading Ephesians (Among other books) I have come to the conclusion that my words are only hurting them, and not furthering the Kingdom and bringing glory to my Creator. Again led to repentance, and praising my Father that He is continually working in me, ripping away this flesh and revealing whom He designed and foreknew before the foundations of the world. Romans 8:29.
I really don't know how I get anything done being flat on my face most of the time.
I live in a Culture that breeds Meism....put in the hours and I will succeed!
Plan for your future, save that nest egg, dream large and work towards your goal!
But whose life is this anyway?
Romans 11:1-36 God is the one who uses the crop, who changes a mans will and who before the foundation of the world has made it so. It is because God had already thought of it, and finished the work that the work is there.
It is because He said it is so, that it is so.
Us human beings like to compartmentalize The Master Of the Universe, picturing Him gazing down a corridor of doors that we humans choose to walk through. Think about it, who really wants a life based on chance and luck?
Everybody.
We like to think as soon as we are freed from our mothers womb we are entitled to what we want. My needs first, thank you very much. We don't grow out of this self indulgent attitude either. In fact, I can't think of one society that doesn't preach "You deserve it all." Some societies just say you have to work harder for it. Put in more effort, and your dreams will become reality. I am not suggesting one sits around and waits for 'Divine Intervention'. No, that was not why we were created. I am suggesting that we are to look to Gods word alone for His Plan. The Bible contains so much knowledge and wisdom for all walks of our life, and it is such a smorgasbord of delicious feasts that one is never in need of nourishment elsewhere. How we understand Gods word is shown by The fruit He produces in us, and live out His commands on a daily basis.
This is not common nor easy to do, especially if one is relying on their own strength and recognition of what a godly life should look like.
Psalm 50:7-12. To God alone be the glory. All abilities come from God. The stamp we receive, Made in Gods image gives us no power unto ourselves, but gives us the right to see ourselves as royalty, belonging to The Kingdom Of The Lord. What does this mean?
James 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
The word of Truth is Christ. In Him Alone we are able to stand and face this world. In Christ Alone we can rest in peace knowing that he accomplished what The Father sent Him to do. In Christ Alone can I be secure, knowing that despite my sinful nature I am washed clean and pure in the presence of God, and I am to be a guide to those who have yet to understand. Only a guide mind you, and a gentle one at that, which does not come naturally to this lady. The most humbling thought is that I know God is changing every person He has created, continually separating His elect from the reprobate until Christ returns.Genesis 4:1-7 Christ is the gift to us. We are no gift to anyone. Going through the motions of living a righteous life has no bearing on actually living a God-centered one.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love 5 he predestined us [1] for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, 8 which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight 9 making known [2] to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ 10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.
11 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, 12 so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory. 13 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is the guarantee [3] of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, [4] to the praise of his glory.
In closing, I look back on my life even in the last two years and the changes I see how I approach the every day grind amazes me. I am so thankful my eyes have been opened to the blessings The Holy Spirit is revealing to me, in knowing all has been finished by Christ Jesus, and the enormity of what that means.
God takes care of the details.
Whether we want Him to or not.
