Guess what 3 made?

What would you do

when you have

five bored kids

who

are

bugging you?

What could keep

such small little kids

in such intense concentration?

If you've guessed food

you have kids,

know kids

and understand kids.

And what kind of food is easy

and quick

and fun to make?

Not to mention delicious and great with tea?

Yes it's cookies!

Wheat, Dairy, Soy, and Corn free

Chocolate-chip Pecan cookies.

Now only three of my kids

were enthralled at the makings

of this tasty treat.

Where was my oldest and youngest??

Why were they not involved?

They were checking their email.

I can't say how many teaspoons we went through,

because every time they scooped dough onto the tray,

they licked their spoons of the gooey yumminess.

And since I'm a germ-a-phobe,

I'd worry about their spit being put back in the bowl,

so they'd get a new spoon. *sigh*

Spit-free ready-to-go-in-the-oven cookies.

Kids didn't do too bad of a job,

after a bit of explaining why a handful of dough the size of Jays fist on the pan wouldn't make a good cookie.

Not dip worthy.

To the glee of my three

they came out of the oven beautifully.

And in only 5 minutes,

they were set,

ready for the kids to consume.

Which they did.

P.S. I make Trenton his own batch without chocolate chips, so don't feel bad for him. I even put butterscotch chips in them. He's taken care of.
