I like hair.
I can look at a person and decide within seconds what style would be most flattering.
That is what I used to do, before dogs and kids and house.
I played with hair.
After talking with a client it took me under 2 minutes to decide what type of style to choose, to best suit their life.
Sometimes I coloured, and that was the BEST part.
I am creative, and view colouring hair as one of the most excellent ways of expression.
I still have family to practice on. I never want to give that skill up.
Ususally hubby gets some highlights, and oldest son does too.
This last time I had the bowl, brush, and tubes out, I added a client.
She's 2 1/2 years old.
And she LOVES getting her hair done.

She was quite thrilled at the whole process,
and was very firm that she was to receive a 'cut' as well.

All done up for a picture, but my camera was very sad.
She had no smiles, just wanted to get showing off her 'do.

Here's a picture of her later taken by her 5 year old brother.
I'm glad he's got talent.
And I'm glad my one little girl likes mommy to play with her hair.

Very cute! :D
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's awesome that she's a girly girl. Girly girls are fun. I have one. My other one is so not. It's funny, the difference.
Too cute! :D Great hair, Heidi!
ReplyDeleteI have a girly girl. I wonder what Hannah will be... she's so different than Becky, so very 'no touchie'. It'll be fun if she's different. :)
Aww! So cute! I love how girlie she is!
ReplyDeleteI need a girl, too. A girly one... because I was so not girly, I need to live vicariously through a daughter.
"You want sparklies? OKAY!"
"Pink clothes?? SUUURE!"
"You want ribbons in your hair? WHY NOT!!"
